For once, I could finally understand what it meant to feel like for an old man suffering from rheumatism.
The pain which jolted up your nerve every time you tried to move.
Yet you cannot do anything about it, but to grind your teeth and bear with it.
This is the punishment which my body gave after going riding the bus for hours. Without any destination in mind, the bus is like a boat in the vast ocean. Falter above the deep blue ocean whenever the waves hit its hulk.
As expected from that bus which brought us to somewhere far from town. Far away from those busy traffic and those forests of skyscrapers, there we are, in the middle of nowhere.
The first thing that welcomed us was the cries of the cicadas which echoed through the greenery.
360 degree of greenery greeted us. With those canopies of the trees fighting amongst themselves for the sunlight, the whole place looks dark and creepy.
Yet, there was a girl who spread her hand outward, taking a deep breath in at the same time. Closing her eyes, she exhaled slowly, as if she was mediating in front of the tranquil greenery.
She was Audrey, the one who is responsible for bringing me here.
Amongst the greenery, there was a small hut with its roof made from leaves. In front of the hut, there is a long boat decoration which served as a bench. Light was peeking out from its small windows, decorated with vines like those you saw in fairytale.
Soft barking noise accompanied by some bird chirping could be heard coming from the inside of the hut. It seems so lively inside.
“What could it be?” I asked myself while observing the outside of this special hut which seems popping out from nowhere.
At the corner of the hut, I could see a dimly lilted signboard which I could hardly read. It started with “Pe-“ but it ended off with some “Paradiz”.
“What was it, some paradise or something?” I questioned myself once again as I was not satisfied of reading it halfway.
I try to look at it once again, hoping to get more clue on what was it.
However I could only able to see Audrey, waving at me at my face.
“Hello hello….” She said as she trying to get my attention by waving her hand at me.
“Don’t doze off…” she added
Before I could give her my reply, I could feel something holding onto my hand. I looked down, only to find Audrey holding onto my hand.
With that, I’ve got dragged into that mysterious hut.
