Chapter 3 - The Princess

I was heading toward the stairs, unconsciously holding onto her sleek hand.

Right behind, was nobody else, but the klutz, Sheryl. I’m pretty sure that she is confused since everything happened in less than 10seconds.

Students along the corridors were staring at us, thinking why a guy was holding onto a maiden’s hand, speeding down to somewhere.

“Are they eloping?” They thought, or so it’s seems

The best answer I could give was, I need to get this princess away from those crooks who plotting to marry her away to another country’s evil king for their own benefits.

However, I do not have the knowledge of making portable raft unlike someone, so the possibility of me making a raft across the border is zero.
Nonetheless, it’s also seems like that guy who made his escape across the border, got caught recently.

Of course, everything was a lie, except the part which I need to get her to safety.

“NO RUNNING ALONG THE CORRIDOR!” Someone behind shouted at us.

I turned back, looking at Sheryl.

“Ready?” I looked at Sheryl

She gives her consent by smiling back.

With that, we speed off to the backyard.

With our backs leaning against the pillar, we are trying to catch our breath.
Sheryl was panting heavily, as if she had just finished a marathon.

Her neat hair was now in a mess, covered with sweat. She noticed that I was staring at her and turned away.

Sheryl removed her spectacle, using her mouth to hold onto it. While she breezed through her hair using her sleekly hand, trying to tidy it up.

She is no longer the Sheryl I knew. She is really attractive without her specs while her hair swayed along with the breeze.
